The 16th European Researchers’ Night 2025 took place on September 26th across Europe! More than 1.5 million people of all ages were welcomed to museums, universities and research institutions in 460 cities in 25 countries.

Participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of science by participating in games, discussions, experiments and various other activities, while with researchers in their cities.

Celebrating science, this event was held at three locations in Novi Sad (Serbia) from 12:00 to midnight under the slogan “Keeping up with science”.
The EINSTEIN project was also presented to the visitors this year (TC BIG), primarily to the youngest, who were fascinated by edible sensors and edible electronics while speaking with our researchers.
Samples from our laboratory were brought to the booth, where they could explore edible sensors made from biscuits, mushrooms, broccoli, algae, and worms. With lots of smiles and curious eyes, “The path of science through the body: electronics, sensors and AI for better health” was a gathering place for visitors with our researchers.

During the Researchers’ Night, researchers from all faculties of the University of Novi Sad demystified the participation of artificial intelligence in the sphere of their work from their point of view, from medicine, through economy, to technical sciences, with many workshops and coffee with the scientist.

Visitors had the opportunity to look into the laboratories or laboratory samples, talk with researchers and try to solve interesting scientific puzzles themselves. As every year, the program was free for visitors, and we brought you a part of the atmosphere from our stand with photos.
