Organic production, zero waste and young people… Healthy eating, organic production and sustainable development are no longer just ecological topics, but issues of innovation, technology and the future of society.
In this episode, Project Manager of the EINSTEIN project, Kristina Petrović, spoke with the podcast author about how Serbia and Vojvodina Province have the potential to become leaders in organic production, and how organic resources can be connected to high technology and science.
Kristina talked about European projects funded through the Horizon Europe programme, especially regarding EINSTEIN innovations and edible electronics, food-waste sensors, and the bioeconomy, with the aim of early disease detection and applications in biomedicine.
Special focus in this podcast episode is on young people, their ideas, challenges and why education, information and multidisciplinarity are the key to long-term success.
