The 93rd International Agricultural Fair, held from 16 to 21 May 2026 at the Novi Sad Fair, brought together agricultural producers, industry representatives, researchers, educational institutions, regional investors, policymakers, and visitors from Serbia and abroad. The event offered an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, present new ideas, and explore innovative solutions for the future of agriculture.
Members of the EINSTEIN consortium from the University of Novi Sad took an active part in the fair by presenting research and innovations developed within the EINSTEIN project. The team included Prof. Dr. Goran M. Stojanović, Prof. Dr. Sanja Kojić, Dr. Mitar Simić, Dr. Saima Qureshi, Dr. Sohail Sarang, Lazar Milić, Ivana Knežević, Milica Abeer, Igor Putnik, and Andrej Ilić.
At the stand, the team showcased advanced electronic systems designed to support modern agriculture and sustainable food production, including systems based on nutrifood materials and food waste. Visitors also had the chance to try nutri-rolls produced by VOC, one of the EINSTEIN consortium members. During the fair, a representative of New Hospital also visited the stand.
The fair created valuable opportunities for discussions with representatives of government institutions, agricultural producers, academia, industry, and civil society. These conversations opened the door to potential future collaborations, technology transfer, and wider application of the project’s research results.
The EINSTEIN team also helped promote science and engineering through interviews and media appearances for national broadcasters, including Radio Television of Serbia and Radio Television of Vojvodina. Through these activities, the team brought current research in electronics and agritech closer to the public, while highlighting the educational and scientific achievements of the EINSTEIN project.
