Roundtable “Sustainable Development in Times of Change: Between Regulatory (ESG) Requirements and Innovative Solutions”

On May 29, 2025, the Roundtable “Sustainable Development in Times of Change: Between Regulatory (ESG) Requirements and Innovative Solutions” was successfully held at the Hilton Hotel in Belgrade, organized by the Embassy of Sweden in Serbia and National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED).

The event gathered stakeholders from academia, business, public policy, and civil society to discuss the challenges and opportunities of green transition, sustainable supply chains, and bioeconomy in Serbia.

Dr. Kristina Petrović, Project Manager, had the honor of presenting the EINSTEIN Project, with a special focus on the development of edible sensors made from biowaste. This innovative approach showcases how science and the circular economy can come together to create sustainable, high-impact solutions.

The roundtable provided a valuable platform for ecosystem actors to connect with academic innovation, paving the way for collaborative ideation and the development of new green technologies and ESG-aligned solutions.
